Mallika Vora (b. 1990) is a documentary photographer complicating human narratives though an inductive and collaborative approach to storytelling. She believes in a visual journalistic practice rooted in a deep commitment to human dignity, that challenges the audience to question their own notions and value judgements of different intersections of society.

Vora is on faculty at the International Center of Photography's Documentary Photography and Photojournalism Program. A self-described "jack of all pixels," she cut her teeth in graphic design, photographic production and technical assistance working for acclaimed visual artists on book, exhibition, video, installation + web projects. She received a BFA from NYU Tisch School of the Arts Department of Photography and Imaging in 2013.

She is the American-born, Spanish-speaking daughter of proud first-generation Indian immigrants. She is currently based in Mexico City after nearly a decade in Brooklyn, New York.
